Scroll to lift each layer apart. From the skin outwards, this is what your baby wears.
The face of every topper is soft cotton waffle. Its little squares let air move and pass wetness straight down to the moss, so the first thing your baby feels is cloth.
Against skin · 100% cotton
5–7g of New Zealand sphagnum moss (Besgrow AAA grade), cleaned and dried, wrapped in thick towelling inside the topper. Moss soaks up to twenty times its own weight. The towelling around it is cotton loops on a light 10% polyester base, which gives it the thickness to hold that wetness. It never touches skin.
Absorbs up to 20× its own weight
Wool on the back of the topper. Its natural lanolin resists wetness while letting air move through, so the moss stays where it belongs.
Replaces the plastic in a regular nappy
Soft linen lines the shell against your baby’s skin, with a towelling strip hidden in the wet zone. Merino wool on the outside is breathable, naturally water-resistant, and warm in winter, cool in summer. Emerald press studs fine-tune the fit within each size.
Comes in Petite, Classic and Grand
Four natural materials, and we can tell you exactly where each one sits in the nappy.
Ovis aries
The outside of every shell and the back of every topper. Fine, soft and naturally water-resistant.
Linum usitatissimum
Lines the inside of every shell. Cool, smooth, and softer with every wash.
Gossypium
The face of every topper. Little squares that feel soft and let wetness pass straight to the moss.
Sphagnum
The heart of the nappy. Light, springy and remarkably thirsty.
Everything your baby feels is natural: linen inside the shell and cotton waffle on the topper. Hidden between the layers is the one thing that isn't fully natural: a thick towelling core of cotton loops on a light 10% polyester base.
We chose it on purpose. Pure-cotton towelling heavy enough to hold the moss's wetness is very hard to find, and this one keeps your baby dry. It never touches skin, and it's less than 5% of the fabric in every nappy by weight. We'd rather tell you exactly what's in your baby's nappy than call it "100% natural" when it isn't.
