made with nature,
made with love

“I built MOUSKA before I had a baby, because what touches a newborn's skin all day, every day, matters.”

The founder, MOUSKA

Ancient wisdom, modern love

Parents have trusted moss for centuries.

Long before disposables, families across the northern world lined cradles and carrying bags with dried moss. It was soft, it soaked up wetness, and it was kind to skin.

We took that old knowledge into a small workshop in Britain, paired it with merino wool, linen and cotton, and stitched it into a nappy for today. Each one is cut, quilted and snapped by hand.

We couldn’t find the nappy we’d want for a baby of our own: natural, soft, breathable, reusable, durable and free from unnecessary plastic. So we made it. MOUSKA isn’t about making another reusable nappy. It’s about questioning what a reusable nappy should be in the first place.

The founder

Built before her time.

“I don't have children yet. But I am already thinking about what kind of world I'm bringing them into.”

Diana Mouska isn't a mother. What she has is something rarer: a conscience that arrived early. She built MOUSKA not because something went wrong. She built it because she looked at what existed and decided someone needed to do better.

She taught herself to sew. She chose every fabric herself. She found sphagnum moss, a plant mothers around the world have trusted for centuries.

She made her first nappy by hand on her kitchen table. Then another. And another.

“The world our children inherit is shaped by choices adults make before they arrive.”

Three sizes, because a newborn and a toddler are completely different shapes.
